Opening Ceremony
Homily by Fr. Alberto Ghela, SSPX

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen.

In this historical moment, when a nation in the far east, which has been known as the land of the rosary, who as one of a well known priest, Fr. Reuter, and he was almost in his deathbed and said, and wrote in his hands, and he said, it is in the Philippines, where we can truly call our Lady, Mama Mary.

In this year of 2016, is only going to come only come once, and next year, it will be 2017. We'll celebrate a hundred years of the apparitions of our Lady in Fatima.

And to celebrate three holy souls, but now gone to everlasting life... Lucia, Jacinta and Francesco.

The message of our Lady, was given in those few years, will keep on ringing in the ears, in the hearts, in the bossom of the church of today. And the same thing that was bellowed by our Lady so that souls would heed to her call.

And this is something very very important. Because as we know, that during that that year, it was also very very providential, there was at that time an unknown franciscan studying to become a  priest in the name of Maximillian Kolbe.

Later on, he would rise to the greatness of the spiritual life, would found the Militia Immaculatae and bring the Immaculata into the hearts of free men all over the world.

At the same time, as Fatima became recognized by the church, a great movement, the Blue Army of our Lady of Fatima, is going to reach even the four corners of the world to bring the message of Fatima into the hearts of men.

But even this is not yet enough. And still more. If you're going to go on the other side, as this life has always been a battle. As the history of the human race has always been a struggle between the forces of God and the forces of the devil.  It is also during this year 2017 that is going to become the three hundred anniversary of the formal founding of Freemasonry.

It is going to be celebrated by the freethinkers as well one of their masterpieces will also be celebrated, the French Revolution.

And afterwards, in almost the same years, their going to bring forth another daughter worst than before, communism. The Bolshevik Revolution, of Russia, and Russia, will become communist Russia.

And so that at this time, our Lady was trying to ask for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart.

These relevant points of history, marks this great struggle that is going through onwards. And afterwards, if you might have remembered about 50 years after 1917, more or less, will come another daughter of that revolution, this time, not in governments but in the church.

That revolution in the Second Vatican Council that is going to destroy a lot of the faith and the practice of the faith. And will destroy many chances of souls to save themselves. So that as of this time, more than 40 years after the council we would see the remnants, the things that we have been clinging to, and now, there is no other greater hope for us than to go back to our Lady, is after all, that is the message of Fatima to come to her, to come to her Immaculate Heart.

And as we know, the Immaculate Heart of Mary is so powerful because the Immaculate Heart of Mary is inseparable to the Sacred Heart.

As we go back, the very person of our Lady is inseparable to our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the source of all salvation and has suffering in His death, is the source of everything. But this great Lord, this great Savior came to us in a package wrapped with the Mother, our Lady, and so that when this grace is given to us it is given with our Lady. And so, it is always with our Lady.

But more than that, that if our Lord came through our Lady, we can come to our Lord through our Lady and that is for sure. That is something which is infallible. So that when our Lord would say things in power he would say to this man be healed and he is healed, he would say to the blind man receive thy sight. He would say to the man sick with a palsy, get up and walk.

With such power it happens. And He would promise to send Peter and say 'if you will be converted thou shalt confirm thy brethren. I have prayed for thee'.

And He would say to St. Margaret Mary, or an echo of the scriptures, 'that the things which are already in my hands nobody can take it away'.

So then our Lord assures salvation for those who come to Him. Those who come to our Lord will be saved.

And it is in the same power when our Lady would say that with force. She would say, as in devotion to the brown scapular 'whosoever dies wearing this scapular shall not suffer eternal fire'.

It is in the same plain when she promised that because she is infallible, because she has the power to give it. Because she is inseparable to our Lord Jesus Christ.

And so she would echo in her messages to Fatima 'in the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph'. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge. And my Immaculate Heart will lead you to God.

Even so far as to promise to sinners - the weakest of sinners, even to the sinners who have fallen many times over, with the greatest of sinners. And even for those sinners who would fall over and over and and over over again. She would say to them 'my Immaculate Heart is your refuge do not give up. You shall be saved'.

It is in such power that our Lady would say this words because she say so. She promises these things and she will do it, infallibly, not like the promises of the politicians, not like the promises of your friends, or your neighbors or even your very loved ones.

This is the promise of our Lady, it echoes the promise of our Lord it echoes the promise of God.

And so during these times we should put ourselves under our Lady, under the Immaculate Heart, that once we give ourselves to her she will take us and she will give more graces, and she will convert our lives. She will move our hearts, our souls into conversion. And will sanctify us, will make our lives more holy and holy, and later on will move us to dispositions to repair against the ingratitudes, against the injustices, against the sins, the blasphemies against the Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart.

It is by this that we'll live with the saints. It is by this when we show compassion to the hurt that was caused by sin. It is by this that we follow the footsteps of our Lord crowned with thorns, beaten, crucified - died.

Our Lady crowned in her heart pierced with sorrows. Sorrowful in the Immaculte Heart.

And so let us walk the streets as we say 'Lakarin buong Pilipinas'. Let us walk, let us pray, let us convert ourselves, let us make reparation. And most of all, let us give our Lady a chance to walk and bring more souls and bring her message of Fatima, and give her graces and blessings to this nation of ours, into the whole world.

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen.
