left is shown Lutheran Bishop Christian Krause and Cardinal
Edward Cassidy. In the name of the Catholic Church signing
the Catholic-Lutheran Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of
Justification. Bishop Fellay on his open letter to the Holy
Father last October 27,I999 condemned this act on the part
of the Catholic Hierarchy as the Doctrine of Justification
had been already "anathematized" at the-Council of Trent.
