Legion of Mary “Acies” at St. Philomena in Tanay, Rizal, Philippines

A number of active Senior and Junior Legionaries of Mary and their Auxiliary members had made their “Acies” in the make-shift chapel of St. Philomena in Tanay, Rizal, Philippines last March 11. It was hailed by more than 20 active and a couple of new recruits from 3 Praesidia, namely: Regina Coeli, Regina Pacis and Regina Angelorum. Having already given their names as Legionaries of Mary, they had renewed in this occasion their fealty as valiant soldiers to Her, their Queen with this touching ceremony: The right hand on the “Vexillum,” they said: “I am Thine, O my Queen, and all mine are Thine.”

May the Queen of the Legions indeed accept their total consecration and give them the necessary help “to lead the Legions forth united, to enkindle everywhere the fires of Divine Love, to enlighten those who are in the darkness and in the shadow of death, to inflame those who are lukewarm and to bring back to life to those who are dead in sin (Catena of the Legion of Mary).”
