Photo Album India October 2002   In Goa, one retired priest, Fr. Albuquerque, assists us by offering Mass daily and twice on Sunday. He is wonderfully energetic for 81 years of age. A wide-read scholar, and keen theologian, too!       Some generous souls donated a 1000 sq. ft. flat, all interior walls removed, for a chapel in Malad. Also donated was a smaller apartment for the priest.   The 4 seminarians who are joining Holy Cross in Australia, after making the 33 days preparation for the Total Consecration, made a pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Vellankani, and the shrine of John deBritto, martyr, and the great church of St. Josephs in Trichy.   Father Angelo Vanderputten was their guide to Vellankani, and was allowed to celebrate Mass on the place of Martyrdom of St. John deBritto, as well as in the minor Basilica of Our Lady of Vellankani.
